Q: IS THIS
SERVICE SECURE?
A:
Absolutely! Although our software allows our technicians to directly connect
to your computer remotely, a unique, one-time code is generated that only
you and your technician (once provided to them) will know. This code is
required in order to establish a connection. Once services are completed,
our technician disconnects from your system and you can delete our client
software which leaves nothing behind allowing future access to your computer.
Q: IS THIS
SERVICE GUARANTEED?
A:
Our Online Repair service is backed by our same quality guarantee as our
onside services: if we don't fix your issue, you don't get charged. There
is also a 30-DAY WARRANTY against technician error on all services performed
for our clients.
Q: HOW LONG
IS THE WAIT TIME?
A:
We provide Online Repairs 24/7. All appointments are on a first-come first-serve
basis. Repairs are typically performed on the same day.
Q: HOW LONG
DOES A REPAIR TAKE?
A:
This is a good question. Repair time depends on your specific issues, and
also on your connection speed. Typically an Advanced Virus Removal will
take anywhere from 1-3 hours time.
Q: WHY DO
VIRUS REMOVALS TAKE LONGER?
A:
Because we firmly believe in doing the job correctly, not quickly. The fast way is usually
the wrong way. The right way may take more time but in the end you know
you get what you paid for: a squeaky clean system without issues.
Q: WILL
I HAVE TO DO ANYTHING?
A:
In a typical situation you will not be required to perform any tasks on
your end other than leaving our connectivity software running while our
technicians perform services on your computer. If a reboot is required
you may be asked to run the client again or do something on your end and
our technicians will notify you using the chat window if any tasks are
needed to be performed on your end.
Q: I PAID
FOR MY APPOINTMENT, WHAT NOW?
A:
A download link for our connectivity client will be provided on your return page
after your payment has been processed. Once you have downloaded the client, run it and wait for your FixIT+ LiveTech representative to connect. Use our LIVE HELP feature
on the website if more than fifteen minutes have passed since you ran the connectivity client.
